Guide On How To Get Free Apps Downloaded On App Store

This Kokotitech article will guide you on how to find and download free iPhone and iPad apps from the App Store. You cannot download paid apps for free through the App Store.

1. Open the App Store. Tap the App Store app icon, which resembles a white letter A on a blue background.

2. Tap search. 

It is a magnifying glass-shaped icon in the lower right corner of the screen.

On some iPads, the Search section has a search bar in the upper-right corner of the screen. If so, tap the search bar and skip the next step.

3. Tap the search bar. 

This is at the top of the search screen. Doing so brings up the keyboard on your iPhone or iPad.

4. Enter a name or function for the application. 

If you have a specific application in mind, enter its name. otherwise, enter a keyword or phrase to help you find the app that meets your needs.

For example, if you’re looking for a drawing app, you can type in WhatsApp or Instagram here.

5. This blue button is on the keyboard. 

It makes the entered word or phrase you searched for in the App Store and brings up a list of similar / related apps.

6. Select the application. 

Scroll through the list of apps until you find the one you want, then tap the app name to open its page.

7. Tap "Search". 

It is a blue button on the right side of the page.

8. Enter the Touch ID when prompted. 

If you have Touch ID enabled in the App Store, Touch ID scanning will prompt the app to start downloading to your iPhone or iPad immediately.

If you don't have Touch ID enabled in the App Store or iPhone / iPad doesn't support Touch ID, enter your Apple ID password, then tap Install when prompted.

9. Wait for the application to load. 

When the app starts downloading, you'll see a square with a progress bar on the right side of the screen. When the circuit is complete, the application has loaded successfully.

To prevent the app from loading, tap the square icon.

10. Tap "Open".

It is in the same place as the GET button. This is how you open your application.

You can also open your app by tapping it on the home screen of your iPhone or iPad.
