The new 2020 iPhone SE is simply a perfect phone you will get under $400 offering a super performance and great camera quality in a small size. The night mode is the only feature the phone lacks.
Advantages
- For an affordable price
- Fast A13 Bionic performance
- Very good cameras
- Compact design
- Supports wireless charging
Disadvantages
- Large frames
- No 5G
- No night space
- Shorter battery life than other iPhones
The iPhone SE 2020 is still one of the best phones for those on a budget, even more than a year after its release. For less than $ 400, you get an Apple A13 Bionic processor that offers the fast performance and camera features you would expect from a more expensive phone. And everything is wrapped in a small size.
The iPhone SE also offers first-class features you won’t find on some price-range Android phones, including metal and glass design, wireless charging, and water resistance. Some old school features are also available for the driver here, such as the Touch ID to unlock the device (which can be useful at a time when we still have face masks).
When I wrote this iPhone SE 2020 review already after the phone debuted, I wanted Apple to cut out the frames on this phone and add a night mode to the camera. Some may prefer the more expensive iPhone 12 mini, which delivers a larger 5.4-inch screen and 5G in a compact size - but the phone costs $ 300 more than the iPhone SE.
The iPhone XR is another good option because it offers a larger screen than the iPhone SE; its price has dropped to $ 499. Some may want to wait until next year as rumors suggest that the 5G-powered iPhone SE 3 will come out in early 2022.
No matter how you feel about these options, you can’t deny that the iPhone SE 2020 is still one of the best phones you can buy for your money.
